Types and styles of yoga Ganna offers
Anusara Yoga
Anusara yoga is a form of Hatha yoga that originates from the United States of America and was founded by John Friend in 1990s. In this yoga style, spiritual development is seamlessly intertwined with a sophisticated anatomical system (the Universal Principles of Alignment ®) to align the body and thus make it both flexible and strong. Anusara is a Sanskrit word that means "flowing with your heart". It makes you aware of all parts of yourself, your light as well as your dark side. Flowing with your heart means that you take a fresh look at everything that presents itself and that you open your heart to the present moment without holding on to anything or judging. It is as if you start wearing imaginary glasses through which you learn to see the good in everything first. Anusara means accepting the world around us and ourselves as we are.

Most classes that Ganna teaches are in small groups ranging from 4 to 12 people. In this way there’s always enough individual attention for all the students in a class. Ganna always offers adjustments to those needing them because of physical issues or complaints and she readily makes use of yoga props like blocks, belts, bolsters etc.
