Anusara yoga is a form of Hatha yoga that originates from the United States of America and was founded by John Friend in 1990s. In this yoga style, spiritual development is seamlessly intertwined with a sophisticated anatomical system (the Universal Principles of Alignment ®) to align the body and thus make it both flexible and strong. Anusara is a Sanskrit word that means "flowing with your heart". It makes you aware of all parts of yourself, your light as well as your dark side.
